Boys and Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Club is a youth development agency; delivering programs dedicated to the health, social, educational, vocational, character development and guidance of youth, 6-18 years of age. The programs are open to all youth, with special emphasis on providing quality services to those members from disadvantaged circumstances.

Boy Scouts / Girls Scouts
Citrus County Boy Scouts - A part of the West Central Florida Council that oversees eight counties, the organization aims to develop young boys in the qualities of citizenship, character and fitness, through a challenging program of outdoor adventure. The Bridge Club meets in Whispering Pines Park every Monday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Recreation Building. The club welcomes new members.
Citrus Road Runners Club
Citrus Road Runners is a local runners club operating in Citrus County and surrounding counties in North Central Florida. Currently there are about 135 club members. The club is, in accordance with its by-laws, governed by a Board of Directors. The directors are elected for two-year terms. The day-to-day operation is handled by the Chairman of the Board, currently Mr. Christopher M. Moling.

The Citrus Garden Club is a member of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. This group meets from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, September - April at the Recreation Building in Whispering Pines Park. At the first Thursday meeting the club hosts a guest speaker, on the third Thursday a workshop is conducted. For more information contact Dee Nielsen, President at (352) 249-9145.
TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) is a weight club. This group meets in the Recreation Building at Whispering Pines Park the 1st Monday of every month from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Citrus County Unit of Parliamentarians
The Citrus County Unit of Parliamentarians study Parliamentary Law. This group meets the 1st Friday of every month (September thru May) at the Recreational Building in Whispering Pines Park from 9:00 am -1:00 pm.For information contact Constance Taylor at (352) 527-2599.
Citrus Water Color Club
The Water Color Club will host workshops at Whispering Pines Park; all workshops are held in the Recreation Building.
