                                                                          Inverness Fire Department
Services:
We will provide the Inverness community with a greater feel of pride and quality services.

At minimum, a two person-Florida Certified Firefighter/EMT (paid volunteer) crew provides Basic Life Support-Emergency Medical Services and fire protection in one of our Class A Pumpers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to citizens of Inverness.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is emergency medical care for traumatic injury victims or serious illness patients to maintain Airway, Breathing and Circulation prior to hospital arrival.

The team of fire personnel will also make a point to organize and provide a solid outreach  program to work with homeowner associations and schools on fire safety precautions.

We review building plans for new commercial structures and perform fire inspections on local businesses as required for obtaining a priveledge license.
