The Community Development Department (CDD) is responsible for directing the physical growth of the City of Inverness in an orderly manner to the benefit of the residents, businesses and industry in the community. Community Development administers land development regulations for approximately seven square miles containing 6060 parcels. The Community Development Department (CDD) provides a full range of Planning, Zoning and Building development services through the following key functions:
Administration and Development/Redevelopment
Planning (Current and long range) and Zoning.
Building and Code Enforcement.
