Inverness, FLA – the City of Inverness aims to make it easier for our city restaurants to serve the public given the recent precautions put forth in the Governor’s executive order that calls for reduced restaurant building occupancy and greater social distancing.
The City is looking into temporary signage to support curbside pick-up for restaurants located in the downtown vicinity that may rely on street parking. Also, the City is collecting information on all city restaurants: service hours, delivery, pick-up and current specials, see Inverness Dining Guide. Please email events@Inverness-fl.gov with updates to restaurant dining options. The City will share this information on its website and Facebook pages.
The City of Inverness is watching the COVID-19 situation carefully and continues to remain open at the Inverness Government Center (IGC), 212 W. Main Street, Inverness. However, residents are encouraged to pay utilities online, mail or by the dropbox located in from of the IGC. Those who enter the IGC with checks will be asked to place payments in the dropbox and cash payments will be asked to keep a six foot distance.
