Inverness, FLA – Governor Ron DeSantis has issued an Executive Order that directs all restaurants and food establishments in the state to suspend on-premise food and alcohol for consumption. The Executive Order also requires the closures of gyms and fitness centers within the state. Residents without access to the Internet are encouraged to call the City’s the COVID-19 information line (352) 341-7830.The Inverness Fire Department (IFD) is open and operational 24/7; however, to protect the City’s first responders it is recommended to avoid drop-in visits to the station, and to call (352) 341-7845.
