The City of Inverness is home to two boat ramps:

Highway 44 Boat Ramp

  • Boat and trailer parking available across the street at Wayside Park

North Apopka Boat Ramp

420 North Apopka Ave., Inverness, Florida

No fees

  • The boat ramp provides access to Little and Big Lake Henderson and the Tsala Apopka Lake chain.
  • It's most suitable for smaller watercraft, including kayaks and canoes. Larger vessels will find the Wayside Park facility to better suit their needs.
  • Picnic tables and a grill are available at the North Apopka boat ramp, providing a quieter spot for a lunch.
  • There is limited parking for vehicles and boat trailers.
  • The ramp is within walking distance of Liberty Park, Wallace Brooks Park and numerous shops and restaurants downtown.
