The project is being funded as a part of the Safe Routes to Schools (SRTS) initiative
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has brought forward a design for a sidewalk project to install a sidewalk along the eastern ROW of Pleasant Grove Road between Highway 44 and Grove Manor Blvd. The project will additionally connect the new sidewalk to an existing sidewalk along Druid Road leading to the library, as well as along Orvista Circle and Tuttle St. The improvements under this contract will consist of approximately 6020 LF of sidewalk, associated drainage and signage and marking. The project is being funded as a part of the Safe Routes to Schools (SRTS) initiative to provide pedestrian/multi-modal facilities to school facilities with no local match required. The project is expected to start August 31, 2020 and last 90 days. More information can be found at https://www.fdottampabay.com/project/705/439699-1-52-01
