Always wanting to be where the music is, singer/songwriter Madelaine Fisher grew up watching her dad, Gary Fisher, rehearse and perform in local bands. Grounded by listening to the sounds of country and pop, she penned her first song at thirteen and, shortly thereafter, a father & daughter duo was born.
As Madaleine grew her catalogue of original songs, she started to build a band. Adding drummer Jim Alfieri and bassist Douglas Mendell, the four musicians emerged as the uncommon "Madelaine & the Southern Gypsy Band". Performing her innovative and original Pop/Country and Rhythm & Blues songs, along with inspired arrangements of covers by Maren Morris, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert, Madalaine, and her multi-generational band of seasoned musicians, have created their own unique sound.
